BIsB Gold Sponsor of the School Health Conference
Mohamed Ebrahim: We Sponsor Conference as part of Community Responsibility

Bahrain Islamic Bank (BIsB) Chief Executive Mohamed Ebrahim Mohamed has said the Bank is always keen on lending its support to the community programmes and activities especially these related to the school environment since they have a positive impact on the students and their educational standards.
This was confirmed during the meeting between Mr. Mohamed Ebrahim Mohamed and Dr. Mariam Al Mulla Hermes Al Hajeri and Mr. Ahmed Al Jazeeri, members of the Organising Committee of the Second Gulf School Health Conference that will be held under the theme of “School Health: Partnership and Responsibility” during the period from 24 to 26th March 2009 with the BIsB gold sponsorship
In a statement, BIsB Chief Executive said: “Our sponsorship of this Conference stems from our social responsibility towards the community institutions and the valuable efforts aimed at serving its members. Our school children are the most important members of the community who must be given support and provided with the appropriate environment for their educational advancement.”

He added: “Everyone is certainly aware of the significance of promoting the principle of school health and the major role it plays in the community with all the benefits it provides to the educational environment. It is indeed a strong evidence of the advancement of the health standards of the members of any community which makes it occupy a key position in human societies.”

Meanwhile, BIsB Chief Executive praised the role played by the Executive Bureau of the GCC Health Ministers and the Bahrain Health Ministry in organizing this Conference and the sincere efforts that they make for ensuring its success. He expressed the hope that it would achieve the expected success and broad welcome in the local community.

Dr. Mariam Al Mulla Hermes Al Hajeri highlighted the role played by BIsB in sponsoring all events designed to serve the community in general and the school health sector in particular. She expressed the Bank’s appreciation and its gold sponsorship of the Conference, which is hoped, will adopt results and recommendations that will give a boost to school health projects in the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Arabian Gulf states. She also expressed her thanks to Mr. Mohamed Ebrahim Mohamed for the Bank’s sponsorship of this Conference and his endorsement of the Conference’s concept.
BIsB is one of the institutions that consistently seek to provide throughout the year support and sponsorships to all activities that have a direct benefit upon the community especially health related activities. The Bank has already sponsored several health conferences and workshops in addition to various health awareness enhancement campaigns.
