The organizing Supreme Committee for the ninth Campaign of the Greatest Prophet (PBUH) for Blood Donation has formed its organizing committees to run this annual event. The campaign is projected to be launched on March 28 by Diraz Charity Fund, which organizes this event yearly in concurrence with the annual anniversary of the prophet's demise. The 9th Campaign of the Greatest Prophet for Blood Donation, after conducting five meetings since early February, decided on a number of organizing committees from the district citizens. Accordingly the following committees have been chosen: Mr. Mohammad Naser Al-Galaf for the Medical Support, Mr. Tawfeeq Abdul-Kareem for the Organizing Committee, Mr. Ali Al-Najar for the Reception, Mr. Tahir Al-Sayed for the Media and Public Relation, Mr. Ahmed Mahdi for the Financial Committee, Mr. Mohammad Abdul-Hussain Al-Shihabi for the Presents and Rewards Committee and Mr. Taha Al-Sayed Majeed for Hospitality and Catering Committee. Bahrain Telecommunication Company (Batelco) sponsors the campaign in coordination with the Northern Municipal Council. As for the technical photographing, the Bahrain Photography Association will contribute in covering the event. The campaign for blood donation commences next Saturday corresponding to March 8, 2008 at Budiya Health Center which is located in Bani-Jamra from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. in collaboration with the Central Blood Bank, Ministry of Health.
