Zain supports Bahrain Mobility International Center recreation and education trip

Zain (Bahrain) once again proved that its heart beat for the right causes when it organized and sponsored a recreation and educational trip for 14 members of Bahrain Mobility International Center (BMIC), the local arm of the international rights group for differently-abled people. The group, accompanied by Zain (Bahrain) representatives visited Kuwait for three days during which time they were hosted by Zain (Kuwait). The trip consisted of sightseeing, familiarization with the corporate environment of Zain and leisure activities specially tailored for the visitors. “It was a special trip because we got to interact with the members of Bahrain Mobility International Center and understand their take on life,” commented Corporate Communications Manager Samya Hussein, “The whole project gelled well with a core value of our CSR programme which is to contribute towards improving the quality of life for differently-abled people.” Part of the funding by Zain (Bahrain) to BMIC will be used to develop more initiatives for the organization. Zain Bahrain has an ongoing support programme that works with local groups and institutions to provide facilities, underwrite projects and work closely with NGOs and charities that help people and children with disabilities. These include the Indian Ladies Association’s Sneha, a free Recreation Centre for Mentally Challenged Children and the Al Rahma Centre.
