Zain Bahrain’s customers contribute to the promotional donations campaign through SMS Zain Bahrain Reaches Out To Cerebral Palsy Friendship Society

Zain Bahrain’s customers have recently contributed by BD 2,000 as part of Zain Bahrain’s most focussed CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) programs in the Kingdom of Bahrain to the Cerebral Palsy Friendship Society of Bahrain, as a result of an innovative Ramadan SMS donations campaign, in which Zain Bahrain is considered one of the most active organizations within this domain. Zain Bahrain has encouraged its customers to donate to charity by taking part in an SMS message service, as it promised to match the total sum collected from its contributing customers with an equal amount of its own.
"We got enthusiastic response to the Ramadan donation campaign and the total amount was matched by Zain Bahrain and distributed to the most needy local charities," explained Corporate Communications Manager Samya Hussain, "Since one of our core CSR objectives is to help people and children with disabilities to improve their quality of life, the Cerebral Palsy Friendship Society of Bahrain was selected as a recipient. We are delighted that our campaign has been instrumental in helping Bahrain charities in this unexpected manner. "
