Principles of Bahraincsr
o Integrating and enhancing the concept of social responsibility shouldered by corporations and businesspersons as a new principle in planning and business faraway from the notion of profit, mere financial context and unsighted competition.
o Highlighting activities that aim at providing support and contributing to social and environmental well-being in the kingdom of Bahrain by merit of media coverage and urging others to adopt these models.
o Minimizing human sufferings by adopting a closer approach to societal issues, boosting ties amongst the society members, sustaining public health and environment, eliminating behaviors contradicting with the law and the common interest, and lessening the margins of pain and error in favor of principles of love, social solidarity and consciousness.
Bahraincsr Objectives
o BahrainCSR endeavors to uphold and enhance the concept of social responsibility within the GCC community in general and the Bahraini Community in Particular through:
o Recording contributions made by enterprises and companies in supporting societal development programmes.
o Compiling database to archive CSR activities and events in Bahrain and throughout the region
o Demonstrating and highlighting positive pioneer examples in CSR area
o Publishing researches, studies, and reports on social responsibility for local and global corporations.
o Translating and publishing International Standards associated with reporting social responsibility.
o Spreading awareness among citizens and residents to the importance of dealing with socially-responsible companies.
o Carrying out field studies and researches about social responsibility in Bahrain.
o Providing Links to world wide websites and community concerned with social responsibility. o Participating in and promoting social development events in Bahrain.
